👨👩👧👦 Wheeler ISD is excited to participate in Region 16 Math Week February 3rd-7th 2025. 📏This is a full week of family time with stories, games, and math activities in English and Spanish for families with students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Prizes will be awarded from Region 16 for the school and classroom with the highest participation (based on percentages). Please see the attached flyer, and use the QR code to enroll. 📐

Mrs. Weatherly’s 4th-grade Science Class is studying electrical energy. The students made open and closed circuits and investigated what materials in the classroom acted as conductors vs. insulators.

FCA (FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES) ROUND 3 WAS IN SESSION 🙌
Today, we wrestled with things not going as planned.
Little run down:
The planned speaker is out sick so I wrestled finding a speaker.
I didn't want to cancel on these kids!
Kim had a panic and wrestled with donuts, but McDonalds biscuits were tasty!
Here I was wrestling things and here she was wrestling things.
When you go into a wrestling match who do you want to tag team to be on your side? God.
Who knew it was just God telling us; He's got this and he took care of everything from breakfast to the message because IT WAS ALL PERFECT!

▪️We enjoyed some biscuits provided by Cornerstone -- Thank you!
▪️God’s Word was heard -- when life is hard and that wrestling match seems unbearable go in with the confidence and armor of God.
▪️We Prayed for our school, students, staff, and community .
